The resort comprises 295 guest rooms, suites and boutique self contained villas. Maintenance Officer’s responsibilities include and are not limited to: + Attends to repairs and maintenance of all systems and related equipment of a minor nature based on skill level. + Responsible for guest requests for repairs to guestrooms. + Responsible for replacing all faulty lamps within the Hotel as per daily checklist. + Carrying out repairs to public areas based on individuals technical knowledge and experience. + Responsible for performing “RPM” - room preventative maintenance program. + Perform general and emergency repairs and maintenance to all plant and equipment based on skill and experience level. + Carry out regular inspections of plant and equipment as per the daily checklist. + Carry out plant preventative maintenance inspections as per computerised system. + Attends to repairs or maintenance of all bathroom / toilet fixtures throughout hotel. + Cleans all storm water drains including building gutters to ensure blockages do not occur. + Preferred applicants will require valid working rights to work in Australia.Sponsorship will not be available for this position **Requirements** To be successful in this position you will need to possess the following minimum requirements: + High school certificate or equivalent qualification + Trade Qualified (desirable) + 12 months in a similar role. + First Aid Certificate (desirable) + Blue / White Construction Workers Qld Card + Basic Computer Skills Enjoy the benefits of unlimited career opportunities, Free on-site car parking, Uniforms provided and laundered, discounted meals, active Social Club, exceptionally generous accommodation discounts at our 5 star International Hotels and Resorts Worldwide.
