Key Controls - + All keys must be signed for when takenout and again when returned in an appropriate register. A Front OfficeAssociate must countersign the keys on each occasion.No keys are to be removed from the hotelwithout authority from the General Manager. + Keys must always be kept on my personduring a shift or placed in a secure lockable place. + Keys to cash boxes, drawers, bedroomsand offices must be held only by the Associates responsible for them andnever given to any unauthorised individuals. + Wherea hotel has a reception safe, the keys to this safe must be kept in thepossession of the Associate responsible for the safe. + Thesafe must never be left open, or the key to it left in the lock and at notime must the amount of cash contained in the safe exceed the insurancelimit for that safe. + Allcash floats must have signed for when taken out and again when returned. AFront Office Associate must countersign the float on each occasion.Once cash float holders have signed forthe floats they become responsible for them. + Cashmust always be kept in a secure place and never let unattended.Safes, cash drawer cash boxes etc., mustbe kept locked at all times when not in use. + Noperson other than the Associate responsible must be allowed access to thefloat. + Thefloat holder at the end of each shift must balance individual cash floats. + Cashmust never be counted in areas accessible to the public and must always bereplaced in the safe and the safe locked before dealing with interruptions. + OutletPay-ins at reception must be countersigned by the Reception Cashier in thepresence of the outlet depositor. + Whenhanding over keys at the end of the shift, keys should be given personallyto the oncoming associate who is designated as having responsibility forthose keys. + All keys when handed in should be placedin an appropriate safe. + Nounauthorised persons other than Front Office Associates are allowed toissue keys or floats. + Performs other related tasks as assigned bymanagement. + Complies with Marriott International Hotels LimitedRegional Office policies and procedures. + Working hours as required to do your job Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employercommitted to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.Marriott International does not discriminate on the basis of disability,veteran status or any other basis protected under federal, state or local laws._
