The Westin Melbourne preserves wellness in travel with a number of signature brand offerings including our Westin Heavenly® Beds, Gear Lending by New Balance®, and WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio. **Department** Sales and Marketing is responsible for sourcing, securing and maximizing sales potential for the Hotel. **Job Description** + Provide professional support to the Complex Director of Sales& Marketing and Complex Sales Team related to general office duties + Prepare sales related documents through the sales process, i.e.,proposals, contracts, complete RFP’s + Assisting with site inspections and coordinating clientmeetings/appointments + Work with the Sales department to promote an environment ofteamwork and achieve common goals + Communicate with guests, other employees or departments toensure our clients’ needs are met **Requirements** + Will have either worked in an administrative position or haveoperational hospitality experience + Strong knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint andoutlook applications + Armed with smart solutions and can-do attitude + Training will be provided for the right candidate + Operation or administrative hospitality experience would bebeneficial + Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia **Benefits** This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark in a vibrant and growing company.
