The resort comprises 295 guest rooms, suites and villas. **Department** The Chef de Partie position reports directly to the Sous Chef and Executive Chef and forms part of the Kitchen team. **Responsibilities include and are not limited to:** + Provide training for new and existing associates in the required skills and knowledge + Undertake and supervise daily food preparation in anticipation and response of service requirements + Be involved in the hotel's operation and keeping up-to-date with events within the hotel _All applicants must have valid working rights to work in Australia._ _Sponsorship will not be available for this position_ **The successful candidates will be:** + Trade Qualified with strong HACCP knowledge + Prior experience and knowledge of A la Carte, Buffet and outdoor catering styles + Talented and creative + Possess excellent communication skills + Team Player + True desire to succeed in this profession + Previous 5 Star Experience in a large kitchen brigade is highly regarded + The ability to work rotating shifts across 7 days + Foster a learning environment where associates take pride _Preferred applicants will have valid working rights to work in Australia.
