We’re on the search for a passionate and creative Marketing Executive, who boldly colours outside the lines. The successful talent member will be someone who is savvy across digital marketing, social media and creative content development. They will have their finger on the pulse of what is trending and can identify opportunities and implement them. A strong communicator and avid collaborator, they will be someone who can work with all internal and external stakeholders to create unique and memorable experiences for all our guests. **ROLEPURPOSE** The Marketing Executive will be required to support the Marketing & Communications Manager with the coordination of all aspects of day-to-day marketing activities and promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. This position will be an integral role to the Sales & Marketing team providing marketing support to W Melbourne’s B&F venues and assist Marketing in all required initiatives. This role will assist with the execution of marketing and communication activities undertaken including social media, placement of advertising, collateral production, assisting with photo and video shoots, media relations, database management, content creation, promotional tracking, competitor research and communicating with internal teams for marketing related activities. **CAST KEYRESPONSIBILITIES** + Represent the brand in all marketing activities inline with W Hotels and Marriott International’s corporate strategies + Perform general office duties + Manage W Melbourne’s B&F marketing tool toengage with guests and targeted upselling opportunities + Manage online reputation platforms where possible + Social media content strategy contribution andcontent creation for W Melbourne’s B&F venues + Collateral production to promote special events oroffers + Manage the online marketing function includingupdating of W Melbourne’s website and social media & online reputation platforms,uploading of special offers page and monitoring of both third party andcompetitor website to source new promotional opportunities + Execute all promotions targeting the various marketsegments + Work with the digital marketing and the area fieldmarketing team on cluster campaigns, regional offers and marketing campaigns/activationsin market + Manage W Melbourne’s photo and video library andconduct shoots where applicable including updating new images + Build close working relationships with local mediabase & influencers + Coordinate B&F activities and attend B&FMarketing meetings as required + Answer client and guest questions about propertyB&F facilities and services via social media + Be fully versed across Marriott Bonvoy, the MarriottInternational loyalty program to maximise business opportunities for W Melbourne + Attend all relevant meetings, ensuring activeparticipation, timely follow up on action items and pro-active dissemination ofrelevant communication points back to the department + Conduct and keep abreast of external and industrymarket news to ensure W Melbourne remains at the forefront of the Melbournehotel market + Analyse the activities of competitor hotels,including their customer base, with the aim of developing and securing new businessand providing a market advantage + Ensure that you maintain clear and detailed filesincluding all relevant client/partners/suppliers information and activities + Be able to work under pressure with the focus onachieving W Melbourne’s performance metrics + Ensure recovery calls/responses are dealt with in anappropriate manner and in accordance with brand teachings + Deliver enthusiastic, positive, helpful andrespectful client communication, ensuring precise and effective informationtransfer + Be an early adopter and champion for innovation, asthe W brand has been since inception, to deliver and exceed budgeted revenuesfor the hotel, channel engagement and enhanced guest experience + Exhibit exceptional customer service with theability to build and maintain quality relationships with clients + Respond to client queries within 12 hours of initialcontact + Ensure all daily tasks are completed in a timelyfashion + Undertake additional duties as requested by the DOSM,DOS, MARCOM and Hotel Management + Identify and share best practices + Ensure 100% compliance with all local legislation + Align working practices and conduct with Hotel,corporate values and policies to comply with the W Melbourne talent handbookincluding all policies and Marriott International’s ‘Code of Business Conductand Ethics’ and the policy against Insider trading at all times + Maintain the strictest confidence on all mattersrelating to W Melbourne, Marriott International and its entities, ensuring thatbusiness dealings within the organisation are not discussed with outsideparties + Develop an awareness of, and appreciation for, therichness of the cultural diversity of our clients, associates and location + Encourage & support training programs + Be well versed and knowledgeable of Hotel’s Fire andEvacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in Workplace.Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislationand that they maintain complete familiarity _MarriottInternational is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverseworkforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
