This role will require you to perform at your best in a fast paced environment and utilise your diverse range of skills. You will provide operational support, administration and reservations tasks as well as the responsibility for the daily operation of AWAY Spa in conjunction with the AWAY Spa Manager. **Job Summary** Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: + Attending to and exceeding the needs and requirementsof both guests and members + Reception duties meeting and greeting guests andmembers in accordance with department policies and 5 star etiquette. + Selling and up selling of the departments servicesincluding merchandise, massage and beauty, programs and assessments. + Regularly attend hotel and departmental training with aview to learning and having positive input. Communicate and contributeideas and thoughts to assist in improving services and the operation ofthe department and hotel. + Take a leadership role in driving implementation andutilisation of various tools as required for the benefit of the hotel + Achieve departmental and hotel goals related to GEI(guest experience) and revenue related targets + Implementing and achieving all brand standards + Knowing the spa competition and key points ofdifferences that makes the department unique + Be active in all revenue spheres including Retail andservices + Follow hotel and departmental standards and proceduresand best practices to ensure effective operation of the department andhotel. **Education & Experience Required** + Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonalskills + Strong desire to be part of a united team and community + Excellent attention to detail, as well as impeccablegrooming and presentation. + Diploma in Beauty Therapy desirable but not necessary + Excellent understanding of the spa, health andwell-being industry _Marriott International is an equalopportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining aninclusive culture.
