Find Your World.™ **Location** Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and sparkling blue lagoons, Sheraton Mirage Resort and Spa Gold Coast comprises of approximately 300 guest rooms, four award winning restaurants and bars, and a luxurious spa retreat, all in an absolute beachfront environment. **Department** The Kitchen Department is responsible for producing high quality meals for all guests dinning in our Food & Beverage outlets, including our Pearls Bar, Terraces Restaurant and Oasis Pool Bar. They are responsible for creating amazing dining experience for our guests. **Job Description** We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Part Time Junior Pastry Chef, with previous bakery experience to join our busy Pastry Culinary team. As a member of our five star culinary team, you will work in our Pastry Kitchen. Previous experience in HACCP Food Quality and Safety is desirable. To assist us in maintaining our reputation for outstanding food and beverage quality, only candidates with a high level of professionalism and a commitment to excellence need apply. **Requirements** The successful candidate will possess a creative flair with prior experience in a pastry kitchen, a genuine enthusiasm for cooking, self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised. Previous bakery experience is a must. You must be able to prioritise, have high attention to detail and also basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. You must also be available to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends. This role will have a requirement of HACCP reporting to be completed, therefore the successful candidate must be prepared to develop and increase their knowledge in this field.
