The successful applicant will have significant restaurant management experience, be able to deliver genuine hospitality, teach and mentor the team as well as reporting to senior managers and consultants with the ability to manage the administrative duties of the signature venue. Strong leadership skills are required at this level with motivation for constant service perfection and meeting key performance indicators. About the venue. Situated in the historical Hibernian Hall located in East Perth CBD. Hibernian hall has been meticulously preserved and regenerated as part of a major development including a new hotel The Westin Perth, resulting in a transformation of the area into a world class community hub that we are excited to be a part of. Reflecting on this rich history, the venue focuses on the Roman connection. Roman techniques and traditions take the focus of the menu. Uncomplicated and pure are the cornerstones of the kitchen philosophy, delivering local ingredients with a very unique Roman flavor. Guests can be accommodated in numerous spaces, including an alfresco area, private dining rooms and of course at the bar. The dining experience embraces the flavor of the original building with a contemporary feel. The focus is on continuously reaching greater levels of guest experiences and for our team members to work in excellent conditions within an environment that promotes the development of skills, knowledge and career advancement. Job Description You will be responsible for a team of service staff and sommeliers, the preparation and delivery of exceptional customer service, team leadership and mentoring, reporting to senior management, maintaining guest information, product development with senior management and work within the overall leadership team. In addition, you will need to ensure the highest level of consistency and maintenance of the restaurant and work well with the back of house and front of house teams to ensure cohesion, effective communication and that all food and service is delivered at the highest standards.
