Understand the Hotel’s fire and safetyprocedures.To undergo training in allfire and security measures every quarter. 2. Have good knowledge of hotel staff rules andregulations as stipulated in the Employees’ Handbook. 3. Repair and maintain all minor fixture and fittings. 4. Carry out a Preventative Maintenance Programme on allpieces of mechanical equipment. 5. Repair and maintain all mechanical equipment includingkitchen and laundry equipment. 6. General repair and maintenance works, includingoiling/greasing. 7. Repair and maintain other items as designated by ChiefEngineer. 8. Report all difficulties/shortcomings requests to ChiefEngineer or Supervisor as appropriate. 9. Repair and maintain all electrical parts of machinery– e.g. kitchen and laundry equipment etc. 10. All work to be carried out thoroughly, professionallyand safely. 11. Adhere to high standards of personal hygiene and dressaccording to the company dress code, as some guest contact will occur. 12. Take equipment readings, meter readings and maintainlogs 13. Perform preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment 14. Perform routine repairs and assist senior maintenance onmajor repairs of all hotel equipment including small appliances, kitchenequipment, laundry equipment, boilers, plumbing, pool equipment, HVAC, hand andpower tools. 15. Each associate is expected to carry out, within theircapabilities, all reasonable requests by management. 16. Daily and Monthly Gym & Leisure facilities andequipment checks 17. Maintain Gym & Leisure risk assessments incompliance with COSHH, LSOP & SOP. 18. Water treatment testing to be completed 3 times a dayoff season, and every 2 hours in season 19. Water corrections to be made if pool is out of range 20. Chemical transfers of pool facilities tanks incompliance with COSHH 21. Ordering and management of pool facilities sundries. 22. Monitoring pool safety 23. Full coverage of pool and gym facilities across 7daysper week, including weekends. **Other** + Working hours asrequired to do your job but normally not less than 40 hours per week. + Training will beprovided for specific equipment and duties + High standard ofpersonal appearance + Excellenttimekeeper & attendance record + Tocarry out other duties, within capabilities, across the hotel as assigned bymanagement that may be required to ensure the Hotel Operation is properlymaintained in line with budget and to provide total guest satisfaction. + Maintainsocial distancing throughout the hotel, as per the guidelines from thegovernment, wherever possible from colleagues and guests (distancingregulations will be in accordance with any government guidance). + Wearall provided PPE as instructed / required. + Washhands frequently or after each task following proper handwashing techniques.Sanitize hands on a regular basis during shifts + Complieswith Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies andprocedures. _Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
