W Melbourne is set to be the place to see and be seen in. **LOLLO** Lollo, will be under the culinary creative direction of a renowned local chef and will take diners from day to night and beyond, celebrating the chefs mixed heritage and unique approach to menu curation. We’re looking for Talent who are passionate about delivering electric dining experiences that get the whole town talking. **ROLEPURPOSE** Responsible for daily shift operations and supervision of talent in the restaurant and café. Position directs, trains and assists talent to follow all B&F in the restaurant and café. Position assists in ensuring guest and talent satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Strengthens the beverage and food/culinary team by assisting in other venues when needed. **CAST KEYRESPONSIBILITIES** **Assisting in Management of Restaurantand Café Team** + Handlestalent questions and concerns. + Monitorstalent to ensure performance expectations are met. + Providesfeedback to talent based on observation of service behaviours. + Supervisesdaily shift operations. + Participatesin department meetings by communicating a clear and consistent messageregarding the departmental goals to produce desired results. **Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant andCafé Operations** + Ensuresall talent have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms. + Communicatesto Chef and Restaurant and Café Manager any issues regarding food or drinks qualityand service levels. + Ensurescompliance with all venue policies, standards and procedures. + Monitorsalcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws. + Managesto achieve or exceed budgeted goals. + Performsall duties of restaurant talent as necessary. + Opensand closes restaurant shifts. **Providing Exceptional Customer Service** + Interactswith guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels. + Supervisesstaffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financialobjectives are met. + Encouragestalent to provide excellent customer service within guidelines. + Handlesguest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary. + Strivesto improve service performance. + Setsa positive example for guest relations. + Assistsin the review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with talent. + Meetsand greets guests. **Conducting Human Resource Activities** + Superviseson-going training initiatives. + Usesall available on the job training tools for talent. + Communicatesperformance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position. + Coachesand counsels’ talent regarding performance on an on-going basis. **AdditionalResponsibilities** + Providesinformation to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, inwritten form, e-mail, or in person. + Analysesinformation and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solveproblems. + Assistsservers and hosts on the floor during meal periods and high demand times. + Recognizesgood quality products and presentations. _Marriott International is an equal opportunityemployer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusiveculture.
